nLite (Custimize XP)

August 5th, 2016

Hello guys, i am a new user to nLite (XP Customizer Tool) and i am having some trouble with understanding it; ill list my problems under this line.
——————————————————————————————–
#. When i come to the “Task Selections” and the “Service Pack” Button do i only use that Option if i don’t have SP2 on my Original XP Disk or doesn’t nLite copy SP2 from the Original Disk?
#. “Update Pack, Hot fixes, Addons”, how to i get a update pack so when i reformat my PC i don’t have to Download them from Automatic Updates?
#. What services should i leave enabled and what should i disable, I use my PC for the majority of time for Gaming but i also use Microsoft Office, printer, scanner, Windows Media Player 11 and Windows Live messenger. + some other general programs such as CCleaner or other software. I also have a Logitech Headset.
Off topic:
Ok this isn’t exactly about nLite, i have the general idea on how to make a registry file, Open Notepad>Put the info in(i get from websites)> save as (name.reg)> and i click on it, and it say it is successful but if i go start>run>regedit> and find the key that i just put in(notepad reg file) it isnt there or the valavue is different. And also i did a tweak manually and it made my menu app speeds faster, so i made a reg file with the same info in there (exactly from website, no changes) and i login to a different user but it doesn’t take effect, and it tells me it is added and successful but it isn’t.. Help please Main Objective:
I want to reduces a lot of services that i don’t need (see list above) but still make my system stable, i want to reduces the amount of resources my PC uses, i want the amount of RAM from XP uses to be reduced also…
Any Help is much appreciated
