Hi,
I am totally new to this whole type of thing
I have downloaded a few games from links but thats as far as i can get…. I must have to download somesoftware to open the files in ? etc etc please help

For Game install U must Winrar, Daemon Tools.

I have winrar installed. But problem is when i extract the file it will not recognise a program to open with

Games always come as ISOs after extracting (An ISO is a disc image containing all files/folder belonging to it)
You should use virtual clonedrive to mount & Install it:

Do read the NFO that came with it tho for instructions,Using this app is best:

Also,You really should enable showing file extensions,It’s very useful,Do so from folder options (in control panel),Just uncheck
“hide extensions for known file types”

As said above,You have to mount it^
CUE/BIN is another type of ISO format,Cue is the descriptor while the BIN is the actual image.

Well 1st Its extract then Mount with daemon Tools.
Note:- Not necessary all games must come in ISO or .bin file.

Have you installed Virtual Clonedrive as recommended by Roberto400?
Then, you need to extract the two files, just drag them out of WinRar to some location on your computer.
You should then see Virtual Clonedrive’s icon on the *.cue file. If so, double click it.

1st Install Daemon Tools Lite, Now You Can See in TaskBer Daemon Tools Icon Like as

Now Right Click This Icon and Follow The step Like as

Now Mount The .Cue File Like As

After Click Mount Image U see this Box And now u select .Cue file where you Extract.
