August 11th, 2013

Hello.
I just got ipad 2, it is already jailbreaked and to be honest i don’t know anything about how to use this device yet and i have several questions i would like to get an answer to.
1- How can i know what version of ios is installed on my ipad?
2- As i said the ipad is jailbreaked. Can i download and install the free apps from the itunes appstore?
3- If i connected the ipad to the itunes is that gonna affect my ipad in anyway? I mean can Apple figure out and freaze my ipad?
4- How can i install the .ipa apps that i can download from here? Do you have a link to a step by step guide?
5- If i want to use the ipad without jailbreak how can i do that?
Thanks for everyone can help me.

Answering questions 1 and 2:
1) try looking for Settings>General>About. You should find those informations there.
2) Yes, you can download and install apps from itunes, even if your iPad is jailbroken.
See you

Answer #3
1. Go to Settings -> General -> About
2. Yes you can, nothing has changed there.
3. No, don’t worry.
4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhCttHZuUWo
5. You simply Upgrade (or Restore) your iPad and it will become “legit” again. I wouldn’t recommend doing that though.

Thanks so much Slipknot1. Another thing if i restored my ipad is that equal of formatting it and deleting all the info and data on it? Is it needs activation all over again?
Answer #5
1. Settings –> General –> About and look under VERSION
2. There is NO jailbreak for iPad 2 on 5.x.x FW, so what you have?!
3. Nope
4. All apps are in .IPA (iPhone Application), all you need to do is drag ‘n drop in iTunes and SYNC with device!
5. Like you would with jailbreak. Using iTunes. Download apps from AppStore, plug in device and SYNC!

Restore = Format
And yes, if you restore it will delete all, but you can make BACKUP using iTunes and then after restore you have option to return backup!
Activation is performed automatically by iTunes!
