basically I have brought a laptop from Cash Converters online, it’s a Samsung 3530ea.
I have looked around google and it says it has a i5 2450M CPU. from here:

but here says it’s got a pentium dual core CPU:

without it being here I can’t check and it’s been dispatched from the store. how will I know what CPU it’s got???????

Go into Start —->add… dxdiag
Thas OK … I have 8 cores..lol

Considering one site is telling you one thing and the other another, you wont know till you receive it. Possible the previous owner changed the CPU to the worst one he could find considering its second hand hehe..
This is a link to cpu-z, in this post it mentions this program is freeware so feel free to google it instead. It shows detailed information about your CPU as well as other hardware (once you have the laptop in your possession).. http://www.google.com?t=16229582&highlight=

yeah, one site is saying it’s got an i5 CPU and the other is saying a ~ Lovely ~ dual core. I so hope it’s got the i5. thanks though.

The i5 2450M is a dual core processor, but there is a bit of difference on the websites you compared, you’ll just have to wait and see. That’ll be a nice little surprise or not Headu, at least it was only 10 quid postage so if it is the crappy one you didn’t waste much on postage :mrgreen:

haha. yeah it’s a dual core but it’s got 4 threads and the turbo. I so praying it’s the i5!

I dunno if the NP3530EA (your reevoo link) is the same as 3530EA (your Hotdeals link)

Why would you not just download cpu-z and look for your self? It is the only way to know.
