Backup your data ASAP and get it replaced!
The SMART data shows that it has a very high number of bad sectors & had a few spin-up failures
so far.
ok thanks will back up immediately. So is this the reason my pc getting stuck for like 2 or 3 secs every 10 secs.?
HDTune is a load of crap, and never really reliable.
Use Seatools from here to test it, Seagate will probably want the results of this test before they RMA it anyway (if it’s still in warranty). Barracudas are normally pretty decent drives, that one you have had a firmware update that prevented quite a few errors happening – not sure if you ever updated it though from that pic that loads.

As mentioned above, you should always have a backup of any important data that you don’t want to lose.
Acronis True Image is very good at backing up your OS drive to another hard drive (eg an external).

I couldn’t disagree more!
You clearly don’t know much about SMART data and how it works. This data is collected
by the drive itself and is stored in it’s firmware. HDTune (just like any other HDD monitoring app)
simply reads this data from the drive and displays it as-is, So it’s perfectly reliable!

I know a lot more than you as I deal with drives day in and day out at work. Most hard drive monitoring apps are innacurate, even showing the S.M.A.R.T. data, HD Sentinel is probably one of the better ones.
Anyway – Seagate probably won’t RMA his drive unless he runs Seatools, so that shows how much you know.
You might be able to bully other people and try to show you know everything but it won’t work with me dude – from some of your other posts I have seen you seem to be in the dark ages. I haven’t really figured out if you have no people skills or if you are just a troll ?
That current pending sector count is worrying – it’s the sectors that need to be reallocated but either can’t be of have not yet been..
You can force a reallocate with chkdsk /r c:
But you STILL will have a failing drive. It’s not super urgent, but you need to start thinking about getting a new drive now, and maybe backing up the important parts of the drive.
My lappy drive started with 52 bad sectors and it crept up to 770 over a month – by that time I had the new drive and copied all my crap off.
seatools doesnt detect my drive.?? any help guys.?. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling sea tool but it simply isnt detecting my drive.
seatools doesnt detect my drive.
that drive is discontinued now and only had a 1 year warranty so i doubt it’s still covered
a that’s the only reason you needed seatools
you can double check it with “hard disk sentinel”
and bad blocks/sectors can’t be repaired anyway
so it’s time to replace the drive
