Answer #1
you music OUTPUT should go to the mixer – into each line in/channels
The output from you mixer should go to your amp/speakers+cassette/cd recorder(you should have a pre amp out and a line out – line out to cassette deck/PC/CD recorder)
if this is what you are doing all cables are RCA – with the exception of cables to you speakers/amp and what is coming OUT of your PC which is normally TRS plugs

Buying 3X of th : http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2945487&CatId=450
And using 2 as OUTPUTS From PC TO mixer, Each OUTPUT is a CD Player.
and using 1 AS OutpUT From MIXER BACK TO PC, THen PLugging my Speakers to the PC
OR using 2 as OUTPUTS From PC TO mixer, Each OUTPUT is a CD Player.

no one knows about mixers ?
Answer #4
what mixer is this – ones I’ve used only had pre-amp out with 1/4 inch jacks on them, no way to plug an RCA cable to them. I know that’s been more than 17 years but hey, it’s the same tech.
THe cables you show make sense – the TRS (Tip/Ring/Sheath)to RCA is what you need.
You can buy them at ANY electronic store, radio shack, best buy wal-mart etc etc if you are unsure get them there and take em back to get the right ones. and oh yeah – please don’t double post – that’s frowned upon here, careful!

i still need help one one more thing since you a dj
so the mixer works and all, how is it possible to output the sounds PC–>Mixer–>(then back to the PC)—>Speakers(Logitech Z-530) for now im using 2 RCA-Male 1/8″ to the mixer then a RCA-Female1/8″ plugged into the speakers. im thinking of using 2RCA-Male 1/8″ to the mixer then a RCA-Male 1/8″ to the pc, then speakers connected to pc. is that better guys ?
Answer #8
if you have 2 outs from the mixer that would be better – otherwise split the signal directly out from the mixer, if you bounce through the PC and then speakers AND you are using the speakers to hear audio while you mix, you could have a small delay which would cause you to mix off beat, although you can learn to deal with it you don’t want to as it’s a bad habit.
If you are mixin PC, why not use a PC mix software?
