Need help deciding on an Android Tablet.

August 4th, 2016

Right now, my budget for one is around $300 or $400. I’m trying to decide between these two:

I’ve heard some pretty good things on the Samsung Galaxy, as well as the ASUS T300.
However, I’ve bought ASUS products in the past for my computer, and I haven’t had a single one fail on me.
Samsung, however, I don’t know that well. Point is, I need help deciding.
I’m sure for functionality, both are more or less the same, just some better hardware and such. I’ll be reading e-books on it, rooting it, and I’ll also be playing videogames on it as well. I’m sure there’s a countless amount of things I could do with a tablet, but I just need help deciding what would be a better deal?
Please remember that all links must be coded, including, but not limited to:
e-mail addresses, passwords, and internal links.
I've coded the link(s) for you this time - if you don't know how to do it, please check the sticky thread in the helpdesk section.

The biggest thing about these tablets is if they have micro-sd expansion slots and bluetooth.
Bluetooth enables connection with wireless controllers such as the PS3’s one.

But in terms of functionality and reliability, which tablet would be better? I hear the T300 ASUS is a bit more fragile than the Samsung Galaxy, but has much better hardware.

I’d go with samsung note 10.1 since I do not need the HDMI and SD slot.
But for that price, the asus is good too.
