Need a prog to search html files offline
August 1st, 2016
[Edit:] More precisely, I’m looking for a way to have a functional search for saved offline websites. It would search a directory of html files for text and display links to open the html pages with hits in an (internal/external) browser. Ideally it would be portable, but it doesn’t have to be.
AfSearch is all that I can find, and I can only find the demo.

http://www.regexbuddy.com/

If you have these softwares, they also have an option for searching in files:
Scite, Notepad++, Sublime and others of these two categories.
I use this app to search text all the time. Here’s the latest release by BEAN:
DtSearch Desktop 7.81.8266

Thanks for all the replies.
I looked each of them up, and realized that I didn’t word what I wanted properly.
