mw2 help

i hv a kdr of 1.2-1.3 ish, stays around 1.25 most of the time. i cant above that it seems, feels like im not improving at all. any tips or anything? thanks

When I first got MW2, I played the campain, and I sucked.
I got to the bit where you defend the DCS module in the house, and had to lower the difficulty…
However I played multiplayer heaps(I’m 56 now.)
Yesterday i finished the SP on veteran, without too much trouble.

Also ive got about 65 hours of MP under my belt…
just play, practice.. you can’t really get “good” at mw2… it’s more of a game were you just need to be focused, and shoot the person before he shoots you. the only sense of being “good” in that game is tactics.. like tactical insertion placing, claymore placing, sniping, etc.
i have 158.5 hrs of MP game-time.. and figure during those hours, i’ve gotten 16,000 kills, 9600 deaths, and 10 nukes (with the help of a good team aka my clan)
something i’ve found though, if you play too much/overplay (like me) you don’t play very well, and i just get extremely mad and frustrated.. so be sure to take long breaks, like a couple of days.. so you actually want to play MW2 rather than just play it to play it.

I’m on 3rd prestige now and one of the most important things is a good killstreak rewards, depending on the map, game mode, and your skill, one I like is:
predator missile – harrier – chopper gunner
its good cause when you have the predator as long as you get two kills with it you get your harrier straight away and the harrier will get you at least a few kills which should either get you a chopper gunner or get you very close (only 1 or 2 kills away if it gets shot down) and chopper gunner will generally get you at least 10 kills, this works really well on ground war, with more people more chance to get your two kills with predator, then harrier, and chopper gunner lays waste to everyone. that set-up really increased my k/d ratio in the first and second prestige.
now I use the standard nuke set-up:
harrier – copper gunner – nuke
which works for me but if you struggle to get a 7 kill streak (which you will till you learn the maps) use the first set-up, with hardline if you really struggle.
most important is just relax and try not to get too stressed at people running around with care package markers knifing you before you even get the chance to fire a bullet
the gun help alot.
Use m16a4 or ak47.
Sniping (unless you’re really good) never gets you anyway
and the run and gun(stab) classes never get you anywhere. If you’re not going for nukes and just more kills, get a predator missile, harrier and your choise of 3rd killstreak.
