MSI Motherboard drivers

January 16th, 2019

Hi mates… a friend has an old desktop from msi… (5 or 6 years old) its name is MS-7260 and his OS is win7 64 bit. I go to MSI and the only drivers i found was realtek_hd_audio and Vista_MCP61… can you help me?
Answer #1
Use the Vista drivers. Or better, just leave it as is. I don’t see why you should bother yourself with this.
Answer #2
That MCP61 probably contains all you need apart from the sound driver.

3DP Chip is a good little freeware app. that might find something else or something newer…Run it on his PC.

Tell him the best option is a light Linux distro.
The system won’t run anything these days.
