hi guys maybe you will help me. I had a nice world in Minecraft but something went wrong with the game and I can’t play in this world anymore. I’ve been playing the game and everything was fine. then, a week ago when I tried to open it for a few times, there was written “downloading terrain” and then it came back to the main menu. after I managed to open this world it loads just a bit like there are a few blocks and the rest of terrain is empty and is not loading. can I do something just to restore the stuff i built? the only thing I care about in this game are those buildings I’ve built

Home how or another the world became corrupt and the files need to be restored. If you’re using Windows 7 (or Windows 8 configured to use it), you can try using the Previous Versions feature to restore the folder. Otherwise if you have a good backup, you can go back to that. The folder is:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\<worldname>
Note that system restore won’t help; this is not Windows files, but rather considered personal files.
