Megaupload premium + FTP fetch + FTP upload etc ?

April 19th, 2014

Hi,
I am running a web site full of mp3 files (about 5200 files / 325 folders & sub folders / 25GB size) & now the hosting provider wanted me to move those files away from their servers. I am considering upgrading my MU to premium.
So my problem is, how is this FTP/HTTP fetch thing work ? Is it support copying a whole directory with subfolders & files in it ?
Is MU premium support FTP uploading from local PC (via a FTP client like SmartFTP) ?
Is there an easy way to do this ?
Any ideas/experience from MU premium users ?
(maybe a screen shot or two of premium/ftp fetch panel would be nice)
Thanks & best regards….
P.S. Please excuse my bad ENglish

Hi,
thank you for the reply. But I haven’t bought the premium yet
I wan’t to get the idea of this FTP/HTTP fetch thing before make the payment.
If you are a premium user, can you upload a screenshot of this multifetch window ?
Regards ………….
P.S. What do you recommend to do this job with less efforts/user friendly interface/more features? MU or RS ?

make a test account on your ftp , i can test it to my premium and let you know.
from what i understand you would need to manually input each link just fyi, or find an app that will do it for you.

FTP/HTTP fetch cannot fetch folder+inside files of that folder. it only can fetch files. example:
abc.com/band/
you cannot fetch this folder with files.
but you can fetch abc.com/band/qwe.mp3
you have to fetch all mp3 individually.
your folder could be fetch by MU system if your fill folder is available for download by a single click.

Thank you very much for the offer bb05. But I’ve already purchased MU premium. & I think I am gonna regret it

Thank you very much for the detailed reply Panda Dude.
Installed greasemonkey multifetch script on to firefox too.
But still not impressed with MU system.
