Music is stereo. You can’t honestly expect your music collection to play at 5.1 just by connecting a new pair of headphones.
Answer #2
Well good point but why does the subwoofer plays only in the left speaker when i lissen to some music in winamp.
Answer #3
Are you connecting it via USB or the analog jacks?
Answer #4
well i got 4 jacks and usb that version
Answer #5
Yes but how are connecting it? Via USB or via the 3.5mm jacks.
Answer #6
well all of them usb is just for power and jacks are meant to be 5.1
Answer #7
Nope. You use either the USB OR the jacks.
Answer #8
nope all of them ;-D on mine USB works only for power
Answer #9
The USB is for the onboard 5.1 DAC and it should install a sound card of sorts when plug it in. You don’t need to connect any jacks unless you have a superior sound card. If the sound doesn’t work when you plug in just the USB jack then you’re doing something horribly wrong.

well there are 3 kinds of them the one that use only USB with internal soundcard in speakers http://www.speedlink.com/?p=2&cat=41A3&pid=25160&paus=1
mine one http://www.speedlink.com/?p=2&cat=41A3&pid=25159&paus=1
and somekind of home edition …
iam totaly confused from these speakers ;-D
Answer #11
Nah. There are two versions of the headphone one without USB and one with USB. Headphones don’t “need” power unless it has active noise cancellation or some fancy gimmicky LEDs.
Answer #12
well on mine are 4jacks and usb ;-D
Answer #13
well on mine are 4jacks and usb ;-DYes. The jacks are there if you want to use the straight output from a sound card. The USB is there for convenience so you can use the built in onboard DAC. lol.
As for your original problem. Tried another music player? Note you might need to put the headphone in stereo from the sound options in control panel before playing music. One side might be automatic LFE while the other one might be taking it directly from your PC in that case there’d be nothing you could do. Though it’s highly unlikely they would do something like that. It’s one on the long list of reasons why I absolutely hate surround sound headphones.
Answer #14
but my headphones have no built in sound card only USB version of them got it , thats the one with blue ligh on the sound controler i got red light on mine
