[Mac OSX] Old iPhone 3GS

August 3rd, 2013

Hi guys,
just wondering.. I have an old iPhone 3GS whose sim card try mysteriously vanished. I recently got the iPhone 4S and am not wondering what I can do with the 3GS. I’d love to use it for video/ music for trips and that. But I’d love for the phone to be able to play .avi, if it can. And flash capable. Is there anyway I can jailbreak the phone without the original sim card? And then basically just be able to use it as a jailbroken iPod Touch?
I can’t put in the old sim card to do anything as the new sim is a micro sim.. And the old one was thrown out (along with the tray, I’d imagine!).
Just so you know I’m using Mac OSX.

You don’t need SIM CARD to perform jailbreak…
All you need to tell me is what FW (Firmware) you have installed on iPhone 3Gs and I will send you link to tutorial how to jailbreak it and with what tool!
