Lol.. physical science, efficiency question.

August 11th, 2013

I already tried yahoo answers with no luck, so i figured i’d just test my luck by asking on here.
If a cyclist rides a bicycle that is 92% efficient,
for every 100 joules of energy he exerts, how many joules of output work are used to move the bicycle?
and how did you get it?

Answer #1
Seriously?
Eo = ηEin
Eo = 92*100/100
Eo=92 J
I mean really?
Answer #2
i didnt think that was right, i kept trying to not get that answer. thank you for confirming it for me!
