Little Big Planet 2 update issue.

I bought the Little Big Planet 2 Special Edition with the $35 bonus content. Upon inserting the disc I was asked to perform a huge update which consisted of 15 updates total. The 13th update was 995 MB and when it got to 96% it just hung there. When I first got the game and inserted it into the PS3 it did the download and installation of the game data itself but not the huge update for the extra content. Usually installing bonus game content is separate and isn’t mandatory with games such Tomb Raider, Crysis 3, Dead Space 3 or Uncharted 2. Apparently this isn’t the case with the Little Big Planet 2 Special Edition. Has anyone experienced this issue with the game? Is there a workaround or fix? Thanks!

It’s possible that the update also contains patches, fixed etc. Not all updates are content related (specially on the ps3). Try to redownload the update, it’s possible that you ps3 lost wifi connection, so the update froze at 96%. Does the special edition come with any codes are are supposed to be redeemed? Otherwise you better install the updates that may contain additional game fixes or bonus content unlocks.
