LG 42″ LCD-TV

Hey guys, does any of you know that if i use this tv as my pc monitor
(LG 42″ LCD-TV 42LD750), can it then take the 1080p resolution?
So if i use an HDMI cable from the graphic card hdmi socket to the hdmi socket in the tv would it work? just like a PS3?
The tv has:
Full HD1080P
HD resolution: 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 480/50p, 1080/24p, 480/60p, 1080/50p, 1080/60p, 1080/30p

My Graphic card has a Max resolution of 2560 * 1600
It has 2 HDMI socket’s and 1 DMI Socket

It will work.You just need a HDMI cable.

so what you are saying is that if i use an hdmi cable i can take a resolution in 1080P when am using my computer just like when am using my PS3?

you can use your tv as a monitor, i used to do it all the time.

That’s nice, then i can save alot of power from just having a tv as a tv and a monitor insted of having 2 screen’s

Yes, it can take 1080p. I too have a 42″ Panasonic TV, and I use it to enjoy movies.
BTW, if you don’t have 1080p movies then you can switch its mode to 720p.
