Kasperksy full scan taking to long? trial reseter?

August 7th, 2016

Hello, I’t would be of much help if someone could be kind enough to help me out with some issue.
Recently, I was using KIS updated keys to continue my already ended Trial of KIS. but I soon got tire of having to find new keys every 4-7 days. So I decided to go with the trial reset. I followed the instruction and I got my KIS trial reseted.
AT this moment, when I try to do a full scan, the progress bar tells me it will take 1 DAY to complete the scan as appose to 2 hours which is what it took before.
I”m suspecting that the trial reset has something to do with the slowing of KIS full scan.
But I’m not sure because yesterday I installed a trial of Webroot AV with spysweeper and performed a full scan while I had KIS turned off.
So now I’m not sure if Webroot is responsible or the KIS trial reseter, because I installed both of them in the same day before finding out the KIS scan issue.
so, has anyone noticed any slow scan process with their KIS after using the trial reseter?

Answer #1
Never install two AV on the same PC. Remove one.
Answer #2
remove all and use avg pro that doesnt expire till 2018 i hear alot of crap talk on here about it but the keys works good…once every couple months it says invalid key but i enter it in again and it works ( i just keep the text file with all the keys on it)…it has everything and has never failed me.takes 2-3 hrs to do full scan…love it just look for avg 2018 on here
Answer #3
I’m not looking for any other AV.
I uninstalled webroot, but the problem continues.
what im going to do next is if reinstalling KIS will help.?
Answer #4
It’s worth a shot to reinstall, if fails, why not install kaspersky pure?
Answer #5
both are slower its not because of trial resetter i think norton is the best with trial resetter
