Is my iPhone 3GS Faulty?

August 6th, 2016

Hi
I’ve been putting up with this problem for too long now.
Every now and again (once every couple of days) I won’t receive a few text messages – they will eventually come through but not until a few hours after they were supposed to. I also seem to have quite bad 3G and internet connectivity – I often get the “Could not activate Cellular Data” message whilst surfing the web.
For example, where I am sat now my phone keeps changing from 3G to EDGE to standard data. I have had a replacement phone from Apple, this didn’t fix the problem, so I got a replacement sim card – neither did this!
It’s very frustrating and I’m beginning to wonder if my iPhone refurb I was given was infact.. faulty!
Does anyone know if theres an app for monitoring signal strength so I could show you guys the results and maybe compare?
Cheers

Just make sure when you get the phone you don’t restore from a backup. Just in case.
