Is my iPhone 3GS Faulty?
August 6th, 2016
I’ve been putting up with this problem for too long now.
Every now and again (once every couple of days) I won’t receive a few text messages – they will eventually come through but not until a few hours after they were supposed to. I also seem to have quite bad 3G and internet connectivity – I often get the “Could not activate Cellular Data” message whilst surfing the web.
For example, where I am sat now my phone keeps changing from 3G to EDGE to standard data. I have had a replacement phone from Apple, this didn’t fix the problem, so I got a replacement sim card – neither did this!
It’s very frustrating and I’m beginning to wonder if my iPhone refurb I was given was infact.. faulty!
Does anyone know if theres an app for monitoring signal strength so I could show you guys the results and maybe compare?
Cheers
youve been putting this up for a while? PM wo_Ot? he is the apple specialist he answers everyones questions with iproducts…sounds like what happens with bad service…if i was in a place with bad service…it would pop up hours/days later..then i would reply and the sender would be all confused…you live in a place with bad service perhaps…
“app for monitoring signal strength”
shoudl be the bars up in the corner tell you that
Just make sure when you get the phone you don’t restore from a backup. Just in case.
