Answer #1
You can use blackra1n to recover from that if its stuck in recover mode..
I had that happen just a few minutes ago… I had to run the tool twice and once after I installed installous…
Just make sure itunes is closed when you run blackra1n
Answer #2
the computer does not detect it so blackra1n just says waiting for device.
Answer #3
Have you tried using a different USB port? If the PC isn’t seeing it, it might be that something is wrong with your plug and play setup.

Answer #4
if changing the usb port isn’t the issue then take a look at this that i found from some searching

plug in your ipod and hold the home button for 5 seconds After 5 seconds continue holding home and power for 10 seconds after 10 seconds release JUST POWER and hold home for 30 seconds. iPod should connect in DFU. Then restore and that should work

Answer #5
changing port dint work and DFU does not work either
Answer #6
Do you have another computer you can test this with? Could it be your USB cable?
Also, as suggested – You might not have actually went into DFU mode..
You have to turn off your iPod, THEN do the 10 seconds both, then the home button. Your iPod screen should be black when iTunes detects it.
Other than that, I’m not sure what the problem could be. Maybe listing the version of your Ipod might help a more adept ipod tech help you out.
Answer #7
Try a different cable.
Answer #8
i already tried different cables and computer but not luck
also i noticed that when i was about to turn off the ipod i seen this
Answer #9
make sure the appropriate services are running on your computer
Run >msconfig mine has 3 by apple on there
Answer #10
all apple services are running i tried like 3 different computers already
Answer #11
Try a reset. press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously at the same time for at least ten seconds, then the LCD display will clear and the Apple logo appears on the black background. When Apple logo appears, reset is done. If that doesn’t work I would recommend uninstalling all the itunes/ipod software and drivers. Is the computer detecting anything when you connect it?
Answer #12
computer is not detecting it when you plug it in reseting was the first thing i did and it does not work
already tried uninstalling driver and itunes that doesnt work
Answer #13
have you taken a look at all the different stuff that is listed here?

Figured that maybe the official support would help. If that doesn’t try calling up Apple support and talking to someone there about it, normally they are good about troubleshooting over the phone
