iPhone upgrade to 3.0 and jailbreak

i jailbroke my iphone around 3 weeks ago, when i just brought it.
its current version is 2.2.1 (5H11) and the model is MB496X.
if i were to upgrade to 3.0, would my jailbreak still work??
as, i love my jailbroken phone, its awesome and do not want to risk it.

This friday (june 19), the iPhone dev team is releasing ultra snow which will allow you to have a unlocked and jailbroken iphone work with any carrier.

No it wont work. but I hear the jailbreaking for the 3.0 either was released or they are still working on this, but should have it soon enough.

thanks guys, i guess the hack will probably be coming out tomorrow then.
but will it be safe to upgrade and then jailbreak/unlock so early??
there will be a lot of bugs??
