IPhone restore data too big

hey my iPhone 4 which was 16 gb got recently stolen, and now i am at the iPhone 3gs but its 8 gb and when i try to restore stuff from the iPhone 4 to the 3gs it won’t let me coz its too many things is there a way to edit some extra stuff out from the data so its less then 8 gb so i can restore it thanks

Well you won’t be able to restore it since iPhone 4 and 3Gs are way too different.. SO why bother? You can download iPhone Backup Extract program to take what you need, but it would be pointless to do that (what you want)!
