IPhone completely unresponsive

October 12th, 2013

I was re-jailbreaking(Its on tethered 5.0) my iphone 4 CDMA last night and it turned off, and I cant get it to turn on. I’ve tried every combination of the home/sleep buttons there is, but nothing works. It just sits there and wont turn on. Ive plugged it in and charged it all night, and nothing. It wont turn on, connect to itunes, enter dfu/rocovery mode, or show any signs of life. I tried irecovery but i couldnt get anything. If anyone has any ideas it would be very helpful as i need my phone back asap
Answer #1
1. Download latest redsn0w BETA
2. Turn OFF iPhone
3. Run redsn0w, add 5.0 IPSW
4. Choose Extras and option JUST BOOT TETHERED NOW
5. Follow instructions..
6. iPhone will boot!
This happens because you have tethered JB!
Answer #2
I cant get it to turn on, let alone turn off…
Answer #3
Your iPhone might be in such a bootable state already… Just connect your phone to the PC, download Redsn0w, select JUST BOOT TETHERED NOW (or whatever it says) and you might not have to follow the instructions because of the state your phone is in.
This happened to me also. All I had to do is run Redsn0w and hit the Just boot tethered now button and it exploited the iphone and booted right up. Give it a go.
