IPhone 4 to galaxy s2
December 18th, 2013
I looked at s2 last night and saw the screen has bluish tint. The whites show as blue and colors dont look natural. Can someone who has used iPhone 4 as well as s2 guide me on this matter? Also Is android on s2 as smooth as iOS? Or should I just sell it off add money and buy the iPhone 5 when it comes?
Does the color on the SAMOLED look any where As natural as iPhone’s Display? Also are the viewing angles good?
1 more thing. Is samsung build quality good? None of my iPhones have had any problems ever except the battery life. Even the old 4 year old iPhones work fine. Will a galaxy s2 last for a year on normal wear and tear? I feel like I have been using a Mercedes and have to buy a Suzuki now :-/
IMO I think the SGS2 screen is the best mobile screen i’ve ever seen and I own the iPhone 4….
I will be getting the iPhone 5 as I prefer iOS to Android and the approach iOS takes…
Theres no doubt that other manufacturers Samsung, LG, HTC etc can make more powerful hardware than the iphone’s but the software will never be as easy to use and better than iOS…
Wait for the iPhone 5 IMHO.
Yup doing that
Super AMOLED on the Samsung is the best screen no doubt the Retina screen is good but Super Amoled I have to say is the best right now. The S2 build quality is very good I don’t own one but held and used many most in my office have one now seems very good most of them they came from the iphone 4 and have no complaints about the build quality.
I would say go for the Sammy you said you never tried Android you should try it anything that can fight with Apple is always worth looking at I for one do never looked back I just find the options on Android and the features are much much better than the ios.
After looking iPhone 4! and Used Galaxy S-II of a Friend and i seen that the Display of SGS2 is a way bigger then iPhone 4 and SuperAmoled Just Rawks Off.. But the thing is !
Android is Android and iOS is iOS !
All Upto you. I use Galaxy Ace | Gingerbread 2.3.4 (Custom Rom – FirstUA v1.2 | Clockworkmod Enabled)..
Still i say iOS Rawks to edge
SGS2 Beats the iPhone 4 in every possible way u can imagine.
The iPhone 4 may have more pixels on it’s screen, but the fact remains unchanged that the Super Amoled Plus display of SGS2 is far ahead in terms on quality that that Retina display.
The screen of the SGS2 is one of it’s selling points plus the 4.3″ size, it’s HUGE!
As for software on android, most of the problems occur due to different versions of android. But this should get fixed with the releases of Ice Cream Sandwich in which Google plans to unify the Android platform, i.e, one OS on all phones and tablets.
I own a SGS2, and i have personally used an iPhone 4 and of course i like my phone waayyy better. Not because i own it, but because its the damn truth.
