Sounds like you have a TETHERED jailbreak.
It also sounds like you done something that you clearly don’t understand fully. You should really research and understand what your doing before jumping straight in.
Every time you reboot, you will have to connect your device to a computer.
Other people will be along with further instructions – program versions / download links etc.

What program/method did you use to jailbreak your iPhone?
More than likely you used redsnow.
plug in your iphone, open redsnow and check ‘boot tethered only’
