Internet Problem ?

My friend is having this problem today ;p
The only thing his internet connection allows him to do is download movies and enter facebook. He can’t enter any other web page.
What is the problem ? Any Solutions ? Please Help me
Did he tried with different browsers? Make him do a scan with Malwarebyes in safe-mode.
try another browser is the only thing i can tell him(besides tuneup utilities and/or reformat which could both be hit or miss)
I prefer firefox or safari but you also got google chrome, ie8, slimbrowser

and more I’m sure, if he is on linux tell him to check the forums or post the question there, lots of people that know what there doing ready to help.
if he is on mac then he is not having a problem like that imo, steve jobs r.i.p

Also, check the HOSTS file for anomilies (open it with Notepad)
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc
Also can try flushing the DNS cache (close any browsers first)
Start > Run > ipconfig /flushdns
If no luck then try changing DNS servers to Googles or OpenDNS
