I just recently bought an Intellivision that is in pretty good shape. I took the black cable that looks like it has an RCA connector on the end of it and connected it to an RF adapter. I connected that end to the coaxial port on the back of the TV. That’s where I usually have my Dish receiver hooked up. When I put a cartridge into the Intellivision I either get a blank screen or a no signal message. I do know that it does power on because the screen goes from being filled with static or whatever you want to call it to a solid blank screen. By the way, I have used the same method to connect my Atari 7800 and NES and they work just fine. Is there a fix for the Intellivision issue? I don’t want to have to spend $100 on another Intellivision console.

I presume that you have tried tuning the TV to ensure that it is picking up the full proper signal from the console?

Like I mentioned I used the same method for connecting the Atari 7800 and NES and they worked fine. I even tried connecting the Intellvision to a CRT TV and still no luck. Connecting the Intellivision to either an HDTV or CRT isn’t the same as connecting an Atari 7800 or NES?
