infection

when i right click on hdd partitions, instead of ‘open’ i see ‘i love my peanut’.
Is there any chance to fix this, but not to reinstall OS?
I have already used cclaner and perfect optimizer, but no result.
im using windows XP sp2

try malwarebytes to remove that virus and google of course has lots on it

You might be surprised but these malicious and very annoying scripts originated from Iloilo City. That's why antivirus programs took a while to be able to detect them. They are not exactly viruses. The I LOVE MY PEANUT script which recently started popping up is just a modification of the IMGKULOT.

nice when it goes away
