IMessage and Facetime Working only for Email id

First of all i was having issues with iMessage and facetime not getting activated. So i used SAM to activate my iPhone as i use unofficial sim. After taking the SAM route although the iMessage and Facetime still show waiting for activation I was able to receive and send messages through my email id. But i want to have them on my phone too. My friends see that they receive the message from my Email id. So i googled and i read that i had to edit Carrier.plist in the unknown.bundle adding +011 .
Also i noticed that My number was not showing up in Settings->Phone in the My number field. Its says Unknown. I cant even edit it. So i turned airplane mode on and then off then it started showing up but whenever i restart my phone the number doesnt showup again.
Im on baseband 01.59 , software unlocked, Using Ultrasn0w. MY friends on the same carrier with an officially unlocked phone are using imessage and facetime without any issues.
Can anyone help me out. After jailbreaking with the latest redsn0w , when ever i try to enable or disable iMessage , it gets frozen and i have to reboot my phone.
Why don’t u get some1s sim and activate with once. It’s always handy to keep one.. A restore might help. What network u on?
You mean to say , i need to start over again , restore n activate it with the official carrier which is AT&T and then activate imessage n facetime and then go for ultrasn0w?
But imessage n FT will be activated for that particular number.
