Run hijack this & post the log here.
Please download the current version of HijackThis from here: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/hijackthis/HJTInstall.exe
- Double click and run the installer.
- It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
- After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
- Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
I have Iframe virus/script problem from a my website ..what must I do to get rid of it ..its all over my machine hitting the htm files….it shows all sub domains and all home page also can any help me……………
I thank all posters for their help and concern, I found that Iframe.gs but was just the tip of the iceberg . I had solcv.exe a spooler for the virus and Virut-a or a variant. My browsers were knocked out all my htm/l codes had gone and most programs were crippled. I recall having a portable Firefox2.08 which I then quickly installed..bang it worked..I got info from the net..found spolcv.exe and removed it..found Iframe.gs and start to remove that too…took all night and thousands of file were clean/deleted. I got hold of an online scan by Kaspersky which told where the Virut was hiding..I deleted those references and then after researching got hold of and used avg rmvirut.exe which set of Bitdefender which did not stop any of these events..very poor show.I had to stop bitdefnder to use this program I then used this program to sort out Virut ..cleaned recycle deleted all system restore etc rebooted and prayed..all was well so it seems for now. At no time did spybot..Hijackthis or malaware show any virus etc..
