IFaith 1.4 3GS

I have just downloaded iFaith 1.4
Im trying to dump my shsh blobs
I’ve put my phone into dfu, ifaith starting doing a few thing, started exploiting with limerain and the my iPhone screen turned white and ifaith is saying ‘waiting for iphone 3gs’. it has been on this screen for 20 mins now.
Is this normal?

sometimes it takes time but not as much as 20mins
try another cable/port.

i have tried different cables, ports and i tried a laptop as well
