IDM help please

Hi,so why when i highlight some links and click download with IDM nothing happens?

To uninstall a program which doesnt have the uninstaller.exe file, go to:
start menu: computer: click on “uninstall/change a program” along the top bars : select the program (IDM) and click remove.
Then run the install again.
Before you do, check your IDM options and make sure you have set up your downloads correctly – if your trying to use rapidshare, have you checked your rapidshare options to allow direct file downloads from the address bar?
