why???
just close the box, make sure IDM is closed, & run the crack. no need to uninstall.
The crack I used, you only have to run once & each time you update IDM there is no need to run any crack again. The details you enter stay there.

Give a try. May be work for you. Never worked for me.

ctrl + shift + esc then press I and end any IDM that are running then apply crack.
Like AussieGuy said. Only need to run it each time I update IDM. It doesnt only work for him. It work for all people because you cant apply the crack when IDM is still running. You probably missed an running IDM that you didnt end task.
Above rule apply to both the manual method (dragging files) and the patch (auto).

I use it and it all works perfectly just follow instructions carefully
