This worked for me when I had this issue. Though I think it only works for Verizon phones.

Sprint has no access to your Google password. You can go to gmail.com and try to reset/recover your password

You may be forced to reset/wipe the device and start over. We can always do that for you by following these steps

If that doesn't work, or if your phone is frozen:
Turn the power off. Pull the battery out and reinsert it
Hold the Home and Volume Down button
Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device
The “Menu” button is the select button.
This method is quite simple and you can easily access the lock password code for your LG phone. Well what you have to do is have a talk with the LG Optimus T phone carrier’s support line. They will be able to provide the unlock code for your phone. Report them that you don’t know your password to unlock the phone. They will ask for the IMEI number of your phone. You have to provide them the IMEI number. In case you dont know the IMEI number then you will get it by typing *#06#. Once they get the IMEI number of your phone they will calculate the unlock code of the phone accordingly. So go ahead with this suggestion it will definitely help you.
