I have jailbroken 5.01 and have cydia, how do i get free app

i have a jb iphone 4 and cydia installed
i want to download some apps but they are coming up with prices….what do i need to do? i assumed cydia was free…

Add the following repository to Cydia:
http://cydia.hackulo.us/
Search for and install ‘AppSync’ followed by ‘Installous’, after loading the new repository.
Open up ‘Installous’, search for an app, download, install and enjoy.

i have installed installous, but it seems to be not downloading the app i want. now if i get a mobile iphone app from here warez-bb. how would i transfer to my handset?

You have to have AppSync installed on you device. If you already have that installed, download the iOS app from here (these apps come with the .ipa extension) and double click on them.
This will open up iTunes and then sync your device to complete installation of the application on your device.
