You sure you didn’t have a bad burn? Will the disc boot the OS on a different computer?
Answer #2

Answer #3
how do i make a copy of the OS ? i havent used Imageburn in ages..i do this like 2 times a year but always forget lol
Answer #4
You can’t rip an already installed OS. You need to download the image of said OS and burn it.
Answer #5
no i mean i already have it on a disc…i can make another right? of that same disc?
Answer #6
Yeah but if it’s corrupt you’re not going to fix it by ripping it and burning another one.
Answer #7
hmm idk what to do..i would hate to spend time downloading another OS…you happen to have a link to a win7 OS that i dont have to add drivers ?
Answer #8
Depends on the drivers. Wifi, LAN, and sound should all install automatically, the only drive you may need will be the display.

Hi justincredible6,
If I remember correctly, on HP laptops you need to hit the “F12” key right after the logo appears on the screen. This will open up the boot select menu and allow you to boot from the DVD.
Be quick! Hp doesn’t give you but a second or two to hit that key.
Answer #10
i’ll try thx!
Answer #11
naa ..no luck.. keeps saying
no bootable device — insert boot disk and press any key
i guess im just gonna have to download another OS bah!
Answer #12
Go into the Bios at boot, to check boot device priorities and drive listings are correct.
Answer #13
this wasn’t mentioned, but did you check the jumper settings on the drive, to make sure it’s set for master?.
