If you are using Firefox, install PDFit addon. Then you get two sets of options, either saving a webpage as an Image (PNG/JPEG) or PDF. Now, goto a page and Press Alt+1 to save the whole page as an image or Alt + 2 to save only the visible area as an image. Likewise, Alt+3 will allow you save the whole page as PDF and Alt+4 will save only the visible area as PDF. No need for primopdf/nitropdf/dopdf etc.

How do you know I’m lazy? I searched Google for almost 2 hours and tried most of the softwares. I didn’t get the desired result so I posted here asking if anyone know any good softwares which can do the job. If you look at this thread apart from you everyone else contributed in some way. I’m not being lazy but you are being very rude. This is a help section and when people come here asking for help you can either help or not. Why waste time posting rubbish? Seriously just because you are “Staff” doesn’t mean you can say/do anything.
Now go ahead ban me or hit me in the head with the hammer cause I’m being honest and telling the truth.
Have a good day sir.

Mate this works great. Only problem is my images are not showing up.
I’m using CSS to load images via background image property.
maybe this is the reason?
I will try putting the images directly and test. Thank you very much for your valuable input

have you tried foxit?
Answer #11
what exactly are you trying to achieve?
if you have a high resolution monitor, then you could take screenshot of the html code in a text editor
that way it will be coloured and easier to read
does this help?

Great software. Does the same thing as word 2010. It doesn’t import the images. But best one so far

I have an HTML file with text and images.
I have a CSS file which defines all the classes and class ID’s.
I have written classes for DIVS which hold images. Classes have Background image attribute. Images are PNG and loaded via CSS into the HTML.
When testing the HTML file works perfectly with the images.
When I try to convert this HTML file into a PDF document using Word 2010 or most the softwares mentioned above they wont import the images. Just the text and styles.
Maybe this is cause the images are PNG or the CSS are loading the image.
I don’t know
Thanks for all the help..

I have a webpage which needs to be converted.

I am currently trying to do this conversion too but still stuck on add-ons or save asses that either ruined up the page layout or cut the page inappropriately, making it worse.
what am i trying to achieve? compression.
saving complete webpages come with hundred files, fragmenting my hardisk pretty fast, and also make them inconvenient to backup.
