HTML editor

Hi,
I’m after a HTML editor. I know you can use various apps, but I’m just after a stand alone editor.
What would you recommened?

notepad++ on windows or coda on mac

I just use notepad, but yeah you’ll have to know all the tags and stuff.. notepad++ is a good app for html editing.

On PC I use notepad. On my web contract site we use Dreamweaver. On Mac I use TextWrangler.
