HP Desktop HDMI to TV no audio.

Im trying to make my inlaws tv play audio and video from their HP Pavilion desktop.
I tried to set the default playback unit to both HDMI and SPDIF but no cake..
Only way to get audio out of that sucker is with the logitech speakers..
Anyone got some tricks i could use?

You need and HDMI audio driver.

Like an updated Nvidia driver that supports hdmi audio?

do you have a realtek sound card if you do
open up realtek audio manager and the are three tabs one HDMI and one for digital and one speakers
click on HDMI and then click on set as default
but if you don’t then i suggest this way
here one thing to help you sound that if you not using surround sound

I tried in the realtek manager too..
But it did not work..
But now it did! Updated the nvidia driver! And then it decided to work!
