How to view video from a DVD-RW cd on PC

My video cam. uses DVD-RW to record video. Now I would like to watch it on my PC but when I place the DVD-RW in my DVD driver it appears to be a blank dvd, when it clearly has marks for a used/filled DVD-RW.

You have the codecs for it? I suggest ffdshow. Latest version is here:

Or possibly you need to finalize the DVD on your cam for it to be read on other devices..Just a guess…
