How to mount an image?

I never mounted/ burned a game before because I was downloading ready riped games.
But now I want to play Spiderman Web of Shadows, and the only way to do it it’s when I finish downloading I have to burn/ munt an image or something. I don’t really get what it means.. So can someone enlight me, tell me with what program I can do it (link me) and how?

download daemon tools
install it (you need to restart pc, it asks it to do automaticly)
then you get a red lightning icon in you taskbar
click it once and it will show a menu and click on the drive letter something like this : [1:0 – IDE] (L No media
then just open the iso file you downloaded and it will be mounted in you virtul dvd drive

alternately you can use Alcohol 120%, which imho is a better program

i like to use ultra iso….all you do is right click and go over to where it says ultra iso and it gives you options of what to do for that image

i totally agree wtih him!Ultraiso is coming up with sanal drive that u can mount any image file in it!

I think I got it. So I unpack the game get the two files.
Install daemon tools.
Insert an empty DvD disk.
Open the .iso file and start burning?
Sorry never done it before so i’m newb at it :S

well i cant help ya with daemon tools mate….ultra iso all you do is right click and hit burn on it….not sure about that…

Deamon Tools is not for burning…It’s for mounting ISO images…To burn…Use Nero If it’s ISO file…If it’s mdf and mds use alcohol…

it depends on what u want to do:
if u want to have it on a DVD/CD – then use Nero and burn it.
if u want to keep it on the pc and install – download Deamontools or any other program that was mentioned here and mount the image on it.

mounting an image is making the pc think you inserted a dvd but you didn’t
so you create a “virtual” dvd drive with the spiderman dvd inserted (even though you never burned the dvd)

oh thanks god. Cus I Don’t have a dvd here and I don’t think I will find till the next two days. I don’t wanna burn it but I tho I had to do it okay then I’ll test mounting it tommorow morning with daemon tools . Let’s see.
