how to format a mobile phone

actually i am getting a problem of receiving multiple msg in every 10 min.
i have change the service provider but still no sol.
i think the problem is in the phone so i want to format it. please someone tell me how to do it?

Most phones come with some sort of feature to restore it to factory settings. If you manage to find the feature in your phone, give it a try.
you cant format your mobile OS like you do that in PC as said try that
you need a ROM programmer to do the format
A good samsung code is *2767*3855# that will do a full reset
I think you should have a Master Reset option in settings… That at least works for SE… Though it deletes everything… including mail and contacts!
