how to download, save and play games for nintendo DS

i want to get some games for my nephew but i don’t know how to save games for DS. if someone could explain or tell me a site where i could get information.

you need to buy something called a flash card, its a device thats lets run and play downloaded ds games, movies, music on your ds/dsi.

anyways these flash cards are empty you need to buy a micro sd for them (cell phone memory cards)
anyways also buy a micro sd card sold at all major stores.

also although most new laptops come with a sd card reader if your does not you will also need to buy a sd card reader (again sold at most stores)

(or you can buy them for under a buck on ebay)
anyways once you pick a flash card (many different ones, i just picked some of the cheaper ones with good support, meaning the companies actually update their software alot), you download the software for your flash card brand, and put it on the micro sd, you then click and drag the ds roms (dont forget to unzip them, ds games are in .nds format), and just put it on your ds and it will show pictures of games, just click on the picture of the game you want to play (will show list), real fast and easy to set up, just download and click and drag files to micro sd.

pardon? if its .zip, .rar. 7z then it is .nds, you have to open the files with the right program and the .nds file will be inside.

Find and download winrar, it seems to work for most compressed files.

Install winrar to extract the contents of the archive. They will then appear in .nds format.

yes you can, as long as you buy a supported flash card, some of the older flash cards only support up micro sd, not sdhc.
