How do I upgrade my firmware from 1.6 for my XBOX!

I’m kinda new to all the xbox stuffs, but since I modified my Xbox I have never had any problem when playing games. Actually new games can’t be played without an “Activation Disc” which is really annoying.
Anyway, Can I upgrade my modification? How?
I would appreciate any kind of help about this subject.

Upgrading your firmware is no different than if you were to flash a stock console. You do it exactly the same way…I’d wait a couple weeks though as a new firmware will be released soon.

Yes Prozac is correct, the current problem is that LT firmware flashed drives can’t spoof the keys normally as you would with older firmwares.
So with some drives, Lite-on 7xxxx firmware, flashing to LT right now will force you to dump the key again using RS232 hardware.
MRA hack only works with stock drives that weren’t flashed before and won’t work with restored drives.
It’s Xbox 360 DVD drive firmwares that get flashed, not the 360 itself.
