How do i run a downloaded PS2 game on an unmodded Slim PS2?

Hey guys could sm1 pls tell me how to run downloaded games on my new unmodded ps2?? i need a step by step guide…. im a noob in this area…

You could buy a thing called swap magic. Check if it works.

Last I checked you have two choices. Mod your PS2 or use swapmagic. Ive seen a lot of so called tutorials on how to do it without either of those but they are always bunk.

I have a modified PS2 slim downloaded a PS2 game and burned it to dvd but when i insert the dvd and start it it says that i need to puut in a PSone or PS2 cd or dvd can any one help me in this matter.

there are alternatives and if not doing it correctly then you can damage your ps2. i tried one of these tutorials (some alternative where you stick pieces of straw inside your slim ps2 to get the disc spinning without closing the lid) and i screwed up my ps2. it never turned on, i bought new components trying to fix it but still didn’t work. today, i sit here looking at my broken ps2 wishing i didn’t even try modding it.
point is, if you’re willing and brave enough to seriously mess up your slim ps2 then go for it. this is the exact same video i used:

i forgot to add but you still need a swap magic disc to play backups if your wanting to do this. IMO, it will be better just to buy a whole swap magic set (swapmagic you do not need to take apart your slim ps2 and destroy it).

What mod-chip are you using and are you using a DVD-R or DVD + R?

fairly straight forward, you need codebreaker for the ps2( which is cheaper than swap magic), ps1 game, memory card and slide tool (instructions included below)
