How do i know what ps3 network type is?

i want to what the network type is for the ps3. Some comments on google are to old so i though i ask here to get a fresh answer atleast not older than 1 year… I have a ps3 160GB slim version

idk what you are asking but I’m guessing you want to know what NAT type you are. If your computer is wired into your modem then it is NAT type 1. If it is wired/wireless to a router you are type 2. Type 3 means there is limited connectivity (probably because a port being blocked or a firewall preventing incoming/outgoing messages).

PS3 only has 802.11g, it has always been like that and will probably be that way.
Cost and age of the console’s design.
Not if its of any significance, if you want a faster streaming speed, you’d probably use a Ethernet cable.

It should be 802.11n… the x box 360 slim 4GB model is b/g/n… and ps3 slim only g? dang i want n speed… x box slim wifi is better than ps3 slim wifi
