Hotmail Account Hacked

Hi everyone,
My hotmail account has been hacked, is there anything I can do to avoid changing my email address?

Before I answer the main question,I have to point out that it’s quite possible that your PC is still infected
with whatever spyware that got your password to begin with,So re-gaining access to your account at this stage
is probably a bad idea as you could lose it again,I’m not gonna tell you to do a scan with X & Y as that’s not always effective
and some spywares can be very persistent or hard to remove,The best approach is to backup your important data (to a secondary partition or external hard drive) and do a fresh OS reinstall (means formatting the C partition),But if your currently feeling too lazy to do that or just
don’t have the time then you should at least use some Live Linux distro for a while for all of your computer activities to be on the safe side.
I admit that I could be wrong and your PC might be clean at the moment,But when it comes to computer security,Better safer than sorry.
Back to the main question,You got 2 options:
1. Just go on their site and click on “I forgot my password”,Then you’ll be able to reset it (provided the hacker didn’t change
the account personal details or secret Q & A)
2. Contact their support (you’ll have to make a new account for this to be possible),Refer to the following article:

Edit: I’d also like to point out that using a password that’s easy to guess or using the same password for multiple accounts is a bad practice and should be avoided,Also,You should never log-in to your accounts from public computers (I.E inet cafe) or from a friends computer as either can be infected with spyware and you’ll never see it coming..

Yes, contact “Windows Live Hotmail Help Center”.
They will ask you a basic set of security questions. For example, When did you roughly sign up for your Hotmail email account.
If they are satisfied, they will reset your password and give you back access.

I would say “DUMP” hotmail and get a Gmail id
