Hiding your folders/files from other user accounts

I just like to know how do I hide my folders/files/external hard drive from other user accounts so only once user account has access to it .
My OS is Windows XP Media Centre 2005 .

I don’t know how to do it through windows, but i know a good programme for it that i’ve used before, you just put a password on a cetain file and you need to enter the pass to get into the folder, info here, http://www.everstrike.com/
