Help with multiple google chromes

May 26th, 2014

How can I run 2 Chromes at the same time. I found something on google but is there a simpler way then changing users, registry change, etc.
I found something on some blog (Tsvetan) but it’s not for XP. -.-‘
I need 2 Chromes to work independently from one another. Is it 2 versions or 2 same Chromes I don’t care. I just need 2 Chromes on one system (not more virtual machines) .
So anything will do but for Windows XP.

If you open chrome and get a new tab, you can move that tab out of the current browser by dragging it away out of the browers. You get 2 diff browers then.
Answer #2
Yeah but they are not independent of one another. A popout from the second opens in the first and I use that popout to make it into tab. And the One Window extension makes it into a tab but in the first window not in the second. Oh believe me when you are awake in 5 AM a lot of stuff comes to your mind.
So how can I make it that a popout opens in the second window and when One Window extension does it’s voodoo it does it in the second window, not in the first. Do you understand?

When I move it out and get a new tab, it opens in the previous tab( the new browser)
I opened up a new tab inside the new brower and did this 3 times and task manager also sees this as 3 browers.

If this doesn’t happen with you then I’m afraid someone else will have to help you.

That is not what he wants, he wants multiple profiles, not browser windows. I know exactly what he is asking for, just don’t know how to answer it =(

But he’s saying that if he makes a tab from his 2nd window, that this tab comes in the first. With me it just comes into the 2nd one..
He wants to windows of chrome, to work independent from each other, that’s what it does with me..

Download a portable copy of Chrome. Copy it over as many times as you want and run them.
