I bought an ATI Diamond Wonder 750 Tuner Card recently so I can record TV shows on my computer. I have a Coaxial cable going from the receiver to the TV Tuner Card on the back of the PC. I am using several splitters with my cable connection as well. When I scan for a signal I am able to get over the air channels such as CW and CBS. When I try to scan the signal for my cable I don’t get any channels. I eventually get a message saying that the IR hardware is not detected. What’s the solution?

No familiar with cable stuff…But maybe you could plug the coax into TV to see if you are getting signal ?
